WOMEN AND JUDAISM (Documentary)

Throughout the ages, Jewish women have imbued spirituality into the Jewish home.  As such, certain Mitzbot are set aside especially for women, because of their special connection to the home.  The separation of the Challah, family purity laws, and candle lighting on Shabbat and the holidays, are rituals that women always observe with particular pride and meticulousness.

These three Mitzvot, help Jewish women to weave the physical and spiritual fabric of her home, to forge a link to prosperity and to transform her home into a lantern that illuminate it’s environment.
