PURIM
Purim is one of the most joyous and fun holidays on the Jewish calendar. It commemorates a time when the Jewish people living in Persia were saved from extinction. Rabbi Green explains the history of Purim to us, and tells us why it is such a holy Jewish holiday.
As with most festive holidays there are certain traditions and rituals that are followed and enjoyed from generation to generation, today Oded Schwartz demonstrates how to make a Purim Middle Eastern sweet called Ma ‘amun which is a special treat over this joyous time.
