Synopsis

“Simcha – A Celebration of Life” is SABC 2’s premier Jewish Magazine Programme, produced by Spirit Sister Productions and presented by the dynamic, Nikki Wohlman. Simcha – a celebration of life, combines insights on Jewish Wisdom and Spirituality with cultural content of interest to the South African Jewish Community. We also feature interesting inserts on Jewish arts as well as trailblazers and leaders who are impacting our community and the South African society at large.

The crew makes frequent trips to Israel to bring back the sights, sounds and views of the Holy Land. The cooking feature with Master Chef Oded Schwartz has proved popular, and the recently introduced music videos have given Jewish artists the opportunity to expose their talents to a much broader audience.

Simcha is not only an opportunity for Jews to experience the life of our festivals and rituals, but is, in deed, a “Celebration of Life” – L’Chaim!
